Amrita Singh Virk or nicknamed as Dingy is the Indian actress born on 9 th Feb, 1958 in Punjab to parents Shivinder Singh Virk and Rukshana Sultana. She studied from Modern School. She was a belly dancer before coming to the film industry. She debuted from the film Betab in 1983. She was married to Saif Ali Khan and has two children. Some of her best works are Chameli Ki Shadi, Khudgarz, Kalyug, 2States, Hindi medium etc. and the latest Badla in 2019. After a break she debuted from the television series Kavyanjali in 2005 as a negative character.
